Incubator monitoring

The goal of hygiene measures is to break transmission chains. This is especially true for vulnerable patients. An exemplary patient clientele are premature babies. They are in an incubator in the neonatology ward.

Hand disinfection plays a central role here before and after each treatment. In this development project, compliance is to be automatically captured using NosoEx sensors on incubator doors. This documents when door openings occurred without prior hand disinfection. These data patterns can expand understanding of transmission pathways.
